On March 4th, Stars of Startups (SoS) which is a part of Wiselane Ventures organised its Coffee Conversations- Woman’s Day Special with an aim to honour three best women entrepreneurs who fight every odd in order to achieve their dreams. The event was a collaborated effort of India Law, Workden and Wiselane Ventures.

Stars of Startups is a digital magazine covering various interviews, stories, features and columns related to startups.
The program witnessed some excellent speakers talk about practical issues that haunt the women entrepreneurs to realise business success. The event was addressed by Jayashree Ashok and Ashok B. who spoke about Recognising and overcoming challenges through mindfulness. It was followed by a talk by Muhammed Rafeeque who spoke about Essential law requirements for startups. This insightful session was later carried on by Sharmila R. who then touched on The essentials of finance for startups. The talks concluded with Archana Priyadarshini who spoke about Investor Communication.
The event then gave 17 women entrepreneurs an opportunity to pitch their business idea to the speakers who then selected the best three women entrepreneurs for the categories: Innovation, Social impact and Budding. The winners were as follows:

Priyadarshini, WasteWinn – Best Woman Entrepreneur for Social impact
Shruthi Rajan, Much Love – Best Budding Woman Entrepreneur
Kiran Lal, Stugether – Consolation prize
The winners were awarded cash prizes as a token of encouragement. The event was then concluded with a networking session and high tea.
Coffee Conversations now is aiming to use this platform for all the startups to huddle, strive and grow together with an integrated network.
